The weed seeds are ordinarily used for preparation of medicines and pharmaceutical drugs throughout the world. Ordinarily a scientifically measured quantum of these drugs is used in medicines so that there are no after affects that is harmful to the patient. 

Unfortunately, these drugs are not only used as medicines but have been in use since the ages immemorial as intoxicants and the medium of addiction by many.  People take to these drugs out of depression or frustrations they have experienced in their life. Marijuana is considered to be really life saving drug and is especially useful for killing diseases like AIDS and MS. But instead of using these drugs for life saving, they are used in the same line as alcohol and opium to get kicks. 

Sometimes people also initially take to drugs for kicks and pleasure, only to be completely dominated and swayed away by the harmful influence of the intoxicating drugs.

Medicines, especially allopathic ones have toxic affects. These affects may prove to be fatal at times. Of course the medical scientists claim that the cannabis used in medicines doe not have any toxic affect and it is comparatively safer to use cannabis seeds like marijuana seeds in comparison to many other components that is used in medicines. It does not however give a license to the manufacturers to make indiscriminate use of these drugs. Overdose may not only cause toxic affects but also could be seriously harmful to health.
