Microsoft CRM 4.0 is a remarkable tool that can be used by anyone in any company to improve performance. One of the key functions is the Microsoft CRM sales features, which have been carefully designed for tracking customer information.  This means contact information, communication, quotes, and other activities are captured. In addition, Microsoft CRM integration allows this information to be exported to other programs such as Excel and shared with other departments within the organization. As a result, the entire company has current and correct information, knowing what every group is doing pertaining to a specific customer.

With Microsoft CRM, quote generation is an excellent feature that not only creates quotes but also has the ability to track the process until the order is closed. Sales quotes are also a feature of this program whereby a salesperson’s performance can be measured against set goals. Even territory management is considered a key feature associated with the Microsoft CRM service in that salespeople can create their own territory so prospective customers, sales processes, reports, quotes, etc become cohesive. Obviously, this will boost the integrity of the business, empower the employee, and allow more sales to be completed.

Although it may not seem as if RFID tags and labels are a big deal, they can be.  When using any type of asset management system, you want to make sure you use the right accompaniments. For starters, there are three main types of RFID labels.  First, you have passive tags, which typically rely on the magnetic field of radio waves as a means of generating current. This current is then received using a special antenna. Of all RFID tags, this is by far the most common.

The second option for RFID tags and labels is the active type. In this case, a battery is used as the means of energizing the RFID chip. Then, the final option is the semi-active tag. With this option, you find many of the same characteristics as the active type but instead, to run the microchip’s circuitry, a battery is used.  However, this same battery is not used with the reader for communication.  Depending on the model chosen, you will find that some of the semi-active RFID labels will go to sleep until the time when they are woken up by the reader with a special reader. The benefit to this feature is longer battery life.

Have you noticed lately that your computer takes longer to process tasks?  Are you starting to receive error messages when saving files? If so, it may be time to upgrade your computer’s memory. For instance, if you have a Segate hard drive, a common sign to watch for in determining how fast the computer is taking to open applications or save files is to watch your hourglass pointer. If you have to sit and wait, and wait, then chances are you have insufficient memory. When this happens, you have one of two options. You can have a professional install the memory for you, or you can do the installation yourself. Now, while the installation process is much the same, there could be differences in some cases, whether 101x memory, PowerBook G4 memory, or Precision memory. The key is to take your time and pay close attention to the instructions.

Another thing to think about before you start installing new memory on your computer has to do with the computer’s warranty. In most cases, installing any type of third-party product would not affect any standing warranty. A law passed in 1975 says that consumers have free choice rights for upgradeable products without being penalized. However, you may come across some less than respectable installers trying to sell you a warranty protector of some type. If this should ever happen, walk away. These people are violating Federal law, which states that product warranties have to be honored by the manufacturer.
